Louisiana residents filing their taxes singly or jointly who are unable to complete their tax returns in time may submit an application seeking an extension to file these documents. This extension only concerns the forms. You are still required to submit payment on the state due date. This form may be obtained from the website of the Louisiana Department Of Revenue.
