INSTRUCTIONS: ARIZONA RENTER'S CERTIFICATE OF PROPERTY TAXES PAID (Form 201)

To claim a credit for property taxes paid as part of rent payments in Arizona, a form 201 should be used. This document can be obtained from the website of the Arizona Department of Revenue.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 1: Part I should be completed by the tenant, who will enter their first name, middle initial, last name and Social Security number.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 2: Part II should be completed by your landlord. On the first line, they will enter their name.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 7: On the sixth line, your landlord will enter the city, county, state and zip code of the rental property.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 8: If any tenants received tax subsidies in the calendar year, the box on the seventh line should be checked.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 9: If the property was exempt property tax during the calendar year, the box on the eighth line should be checked.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 10: If the landlord occupies any portion of the rental property, the box on the ninth line should be checked.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 11: The landlord should enter the property tax factor on the tenth line.

Arizona Renter's Certificate Of Property Taxes Paid 201 Step 12: The owner, lessor or manager of the rental property should sign and date the eleventh line.
