INSTRUCTIONS: MISSISSIPPI RESIDENT AMENDED INDIVIDUAL INCOME TAX RETURN (Form 80-170)

Mississippi residents must file a form 80-170 if they need to amend their initial income tax return for a given year. This document is available on the website of the Mississippi Department of Revenue.

Mississippi Resident Amended Individual Income Tax Return 80-170 Step 1: At the top left of the first page, give your name, mailing address and Social Security number. Those who file taxes jointly with their spouse must include their name and Social Security number as well.
