INSTRUCTIONS: PENNSYLVANIA PA SCHEDULE D/E/F
Pennsylvania renters who received cash public assistance must complete a Schedule D. Those who are renters and owners who used their home for business or rental purposes must complete a schedule E. Those who have names on their lease and deed other than a spouse or minor children must complete a schedule F. All of these forms are on the same page and are discussed as a single document. This document can be found on Pennsylvania's Enterprise Portal website.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 1: Regardless of which form you are completing, enter your name and Social Security number at the top of the page.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 2: Schedule D is for renters only. Note that you are not eligible for rebates for months during which you received cash public assistance.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 3: On line 1, give the number of months you received cash public assistance.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 4: On line 2, give your total rent payments for the year in question. If you completed a Schedule B, enter the number from line 4 of that form.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 5: On line 3, give your total rent paid during months receiving cash public benefits. Subtract line 3 from line 2 to determine your rent eligible for rebate.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 6: The next section is Schedule E, if you operated a business out of your house or rented part of it. On line one, enter your total property taxes paid for the year in question.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 7: On line two, enter the percentage of your house used as a residence.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 8: Multiply line one by line two. Enter the result on line three.
Pennsylvania PA Schedule D/E/F Step 9: The last part of this page is schedule F. Here, list all names that are on your lease or deed that are not your spouse or children. Give their age, relationship to you, Social Security number and address if different from yours. Complete lines one through three as instructed to determine your eligibility for rebates on property taxes or rent.
