INSTRUCTIONS: OKLAHOMA APPLICATION FOR HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION (Form OTC-921)

Any Oklahoma resident who purchases property is required to file a form OTC-921. If approved, this document will grant an exemption on property tax for this primary residence. Those who qualify for an exemption include a single person of legal age, married couples with children, minor children of deceased people, or surviving spouses. Once approved, this document will remain in effect provided the applicant is not delinquent on any property payments. The document can be obtained from the website of the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
