Michigan home owners may be able to claim an exemption on a portion of their local school operating taxes by filing a form 2368. This form can be found on the website of the Michigan Department of Treasury. Complete the form by typing your response or printing your response in black or blue ink.

Line 14 asks if you have rescinded this if so. Line 15 asks if you claimed a similar exemption in another state. Line 16 asks if you or your spouse filed a tax return as a non-resident or resident of another state.
