INSTRUCTIONS: MICHIGAN CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION (Form PC 592)

The form discussed in this article is issued by a Michigan court register to certify the completion of administration of an estate. A Certificate of Completion is issued after a sworn closing statement has been filed by the estate personal representative, unless administration cannot be completed within a year, in which case the representative must file notice with the court explaining why it must continue. The personal representative is not allowed to file this sworn statement any sooner than five months after the date of their appointment.
