INSTRUCTIONS: FLORIDA APPLICATION AND RETURN FOR CLASSIFICATION OR EXEMPTION FOR HISTORIC PROPERTY USED FOR COMMERCIAL OR CERTAIN NONPROFIT PURPOSES (Form DR-482HP)

Florida businesses or organizations operating on a location which has been designated as historic property by local ordinance, as well as those registered with the National Register Historic District or in the National Register of Historic Places, may file a form DR-482HP seeking an exemption for related property tax payments. This form must be filed on an annual basis with your county tax appraiser by March 1 of the year following the tax year in question.
