INSTRUCTIONS: FLORIDA CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP OR CONTROL NON-HOMESTEAD PROPERTY (Form DR-430)
Florida residents who sell non-homestead property that is not documented by having their clerk of county record a deed or other instrument must file a form DR-430 to have this transaction recorded. This form must also be filed if the legal or beneficial title in equity is transferred to another person or control is transferred of more than 50% of the entity which owned the property when it was last valued. The form can be found on the website of the Florida Department of Revenue.
Florida Change Of Ownership Or Control Non-Homestead Property DR-430 Step 1: At the top of the form, enter the name of the county in which the property is located and the date on which you are filing.
Florida Change Of Ownership Or Control Non-Homestead Property DR-430 Step 2: Under "New Owner Information," enter the name and address of the purchaser. Enter the name of a contact person, as well as a phone number and email address.
Florida Change Of Ownership Or Control Non-Homestead Property DR-430 Step 3: If the property was purchased by a business entity rather than an individual, indicate with a check mark whether they are a corporation, LLC, limited partnership, general partnership or joint venture, unincorporated REIT or another type of organization. If the latter, explain. Give the abbreviation of the state in which the business entity was formed.

Florida Change Of Ownership Or Control Non-Homestead Property DR-430 Step 5: Under "Description of Property," give the parcel identification number of the property. If this form concerns multiple parcels of land, attach additional forms DR-430 to describe each parcel. Note the total number of pages you are including at the bottom of the table.

Florida Change Of Ownership Or Control Non-Homestead Property DR-430 Step 8: Sign and print your name, along with the date. Indicate with a check mark whether you are the buyer, seller, or agent of either party.
