In Florida, secondhand dealers and/or secondary metals recyclers must register with the state Department of Revenue using a form DR-1S. This document can be obtained from the website of the Florida Department of Revenue.

Florida Registration Application For Secondhand Dealers And/Or Secondary Metals Recyclers DR-1S Step 3: In section 2a, indicate with a check mark whether this is a new business or an additional business location. In section 2b, enter your current secondhand dealer registration number.

Section 10 should only be completed by corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. Section 11 is only for corporations or businesses incorporated in another state.
