INSTRUCTIONS: NEW MEXICO PETITION FOR DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE (NO CHILDREN) (Form 4A-301)

In New Mexico, couples without children who can agree on the terms of their separation can file a joint petition requesting a divorce. To be qualified to file this New Mexico Petition for Dissolution of Marriage (No Children), you must also complete and submit a Verified Marital Settlement Agreement alongside. This petition, known as 4A-301, is available on the website of the New Mexico Supreme Court.
