INSTRUCTIONS: MONTANA PETITION FOR DISSOLUTION (WITH CHILDREN)
If you wish to represent yourself in a Montana divorce that involves children, you may file a Montana Petition For Dissolution (With Children). This document is available on the Montana Courts website.
Montana Petition For Dissolution (With Children) Step 1: At the top of the page, enter your name and address, as well as the number and county of the court where you are filing this petition. Enter your name and your spouse's above "Petitioner" and "Respondent."
Montana Petition For Dissolution (With Children) Step 2: In sections 1 and 2, enter all information requested about both spouses.
Montana Petition For Dissolution (With Children) Step 3: In sections 3 and 4, enter the date and location of both your marriage and separation. Indicate if you have not yet separated.
