INSTRUCTIONS: DELAWARE PETITION FOR SUPPORT (Form 329)

In Delaware, you or an attorney can complete a petition for child support from another parent who has a legal duty to pay this. This Petition for Support, Form 329, is available on the website of the Delaware State Courts.

Delaware Petition For Support 329 Step 1: At the top of the cage, enter the DCSE case number if you have already been assigned one by the Virginia Department of Social Services.

Delaware Petition For Support 329 Step 2: In the section for the petitioner, enter your name and full address, including your city, state and zip code. Provide your Social Security number and date of birth. If you are represented by an attorney, provide their name and phone number. Enter your driver's license number and the state in which it was issued. Give your employer's name and address.

Delaware Petition For Support 329 Step 3: Provide all the same information about the person you are filing the petition against in the section reserved for the respondent.

Delaware Petition For Support 329 Step 4: Enter the names, dates of birth and Social Security number of all children for whom you are seeking support.

Delaware Petition For Support 329 Step 5: Enter the amount of support you wish to have paid and how often you would like this amount to be paid.

Delaware Petition For Support 329 Step 6: Indicate how long you would like for support payments to continue. You may request that support continue for up to two years from the date of filing.
