The document discussed in this article is filed alongside the California Inventory and Appraisal document contained on form DE-160/GC-040. This document is filed as part of a partial, final, corrected or supplemental inventory for an estate, or one conducted as part of a reappraisal for sale or to obtain a property tax certificate. When insufficient space is provided for documenting all parts of the estate inventory, the attachment discussed here can be used to provide further documentation. California Inventory And Appraisal Attachment DE-161/GC-041 Step 8: When filing this form along with the Inventory and Appraisal contained on form DE-160/GC-040, you must have both a total appraisal conducted by a representative guardian or conservator and an appraisal conducted by a referee. When filing, you will require the signatures of the representative, guardian, conservator or small estate claimant, as well as the signature of the fiduciary or their attorney and the signature of the probate referee.
