You can use this form to form a limited partnership in the state of Kansas. The form is easy to fill out, and you can either mail the form or submit the form electronically at www.sos.ks.gov.

List the name of the limited partnership in section 1 of this form. According to K.S.A 56-1a151 and K.S.A. 56-1a102, the name of the limited partnership needs to include one of the following terms: Limited Partnership, LP, or L.P.

Provide the name and street address for the individual person or business entity acting as the resident agent for the limited partnership in section 2 of this form. Do not include a P.O. Box for the registered address. The resident agent will receive any service of process for the limited partnership in the future.

Enter the mailing address for the limited partnership in section 3 of this form. Include the attention name for the mail, and include the city, state, zip code, and country. Enter the tax closing month in section 4 of this form.
