INSTRUCTIONS: ALABAMA INVESTMENT OPTION ELECTION FOR INCOMING 457 TRANSFER Alabama public employees wishing to arrange a transfer of an investment fund from one retirement trust to a section 457 retirement fund may do so once a year by filing the document discussed in this article. This form can only be filed once a year and will remain in effect for the entire year. This form can be obtained from the website maintained by the Retirement Systems of Alabama.
